So recently a friend of mine called me an Oprah fiantic. How rude- I’ve only mentioned her five, or six, maybe- well, I’m not sure I’ve lost count. But I have made mention of her quite a few times on my blog. I dvr most of her shows on OWN. All right, so maybe I’m just a little obsessed. It’s only because I enjoy positive things and people, every chance I get, I am willing to learn or seek out new things that will uplift my being… I’m far from perfect, from time to time I do indulged in mindless tv. 
A few days ago I was in the waiting area of an office and I saw her O magazine. I just had to flip through it. There is a section call, what I know for sure. So I’m guessing each month there are different people giving their own point of view on the matter. It was pretty interesting to read what the young lady said, which made me wonderto myself, what is it, beyond a shadow of a doubt do I know for sure? Well, here goes nothing.
- God is real, he is good and perfect. He dwells in all of us and all things.
- Joy and peace is a state of mind and it does not come from people or material things.
- No matter how big my hand-bag is I always find a way to fill it with stuff.
- Good friends will love with unconditional eyes and be happy for all your achevements and listen/ have the right words to say.
I only did four, but what do you know for sure?

What I know for sure:
God is real, in each thing and in everyone of us to find, discover, recognize and resonate with.
Everything has been made with unconditional love, it is up to us to find the good in any and everything.
Our judgement gets in our way.
I am my best friend, lover and problem… depending on the view or stance I take.
I am free to be anything and everything I can imagine, always by my own choice.
I love to experience life, enjoying it most when I find others I resonate with and can read where they are at to make me more aware of what else is out there for me to experience.

Another great post, Shian, and definitely something to think about…oh, and I love Oprah, too!
I do know for sure that tomorrow is no guarantee, therefore, my family says “I love you” each morning before parting for jobs or school. I also know that health is everything, whereas, years ago, it was so easy to joke while saying “yeah, well, we do have our health.” Maybe as I get older (50ish now) and experience new things, life becomes clearer. I’ve heard of her of course, Saw her in ‘The colour Purple’ and seen her on the news, just never seen her show, nor even know what it’s about. But apparently she is quite popular in the US?

Thank you for reading my post “If it’s not one thing, it’s your mother”! I am so impressed that you are able to write a post about the things that you know for sure (I also liked your post about a virtuous woman). I feel that there is so much more that I don’t know than I do. But, I do know that humor helps when the times get bad, even if only momentarily. I know that you do the best that you can at any given time, even if no one else realizes it. I know we use our blogs to be cathartic, communicative and hopefully help someone else. Thanks!
