A place of beauty.

09 Nov

There is no space in my brain. It’s filled to the brim with beautiful random, plans and ideas. I’ve never been here before. I’m in love.
My pen and paper have been working over time. Expression from my soul, spills into the world; merging, marrying all that lives within me.
My heart is merry, content and filled with life. Nothing or no one can touch me, while I float in my element. I surrender, enjoying the ride of my mind. My own company is enough, as I skinny dip into my emotions and bare my soul.
I’m alive, awake. It’s spring time, filled with rainbows and the warmth of a July sun. I cleared my life, cleaned my mind, and now God whispers sweet nothing in my ear.

Shauna, I do love your poetry!:) You use the right words to make your readers feel the emotion that you want them to feel. And if one was in the same feeling that this poem has, I’m pretty sure they’d use your words to describe what they were feeling. :)

Very nice. I like the easiness of your style, as well as the depth of your thoughts. :)

This is a nice post, simple but satisfying like a home cooked meal. I liked it :)

That’s how it felt when I wrote it; satisfying. You have great word play. :-)
